Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Manager, Business Management 3 to lead all business activities associated with the Logistics and Fabrication Solutions (LFS) Operating Unit. This position reports to the Airborne Platform Solutions (APS) Business Unit Business Management Director within the Global Battle Management and Readiness (GBMR) Division and partners with the Operating Unit Director to establish strategy, prioritize requirements and achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes.
Preferably, this position will be based in Lake Charles, LA. Consideration will be given to candidates able to work from a major Northrop Grumman facility who are willing to travel frequently.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
Leads a team of Business Managers and Program Control Analysts in executing a broad scope of business management activities to support program execution and compliance.Provide business oversight, interface with applicable customers and auditors (internal and external) and assist with contract negotiations as needed to ensure sound business deals are achieved.Manage the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin, and cash.Lead the Quarterly EAC process to include identification of risks / opportunities and determine backlog and margin booking rates.Interface with diverse functional areas to ensure risks are understood and financial performance is achieved. Individual should be proficient at developing and motivating a productive staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills with focused emphasis on continuous process improvement.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance / Mathematics with a minimum of 10 years applicable experience, or Master’s degree and 8 years relevant experience (or four additional years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree) in finance, accounting or program control.Understanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, Commercial contracts, and the FAR.Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAPProven professional and managerial skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environmentAble to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the program resultAble to prepare and analyze data and figuresAbility to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutionPrior experience with program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan developmentAble to lead a team in numerous geographical locationsAbility to obtain a Secret security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Government financial CDRL’sActive Secret ClearanceSalary Range: $133,400.00 - $200,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
