Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems Sector is seeking a Business Management Manager 3 to support our Research and Advanced Design Division (R&AD). This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA or Melbourne, FL and offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. The manager will partner with the Portfolio Manager, and Program Managers to manage all financials to achieve the organization’s financial and strategic objectives. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in leading a diverse team as well as the ability to promote the professional development of the business management workforce, fostering a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around ethics and integrity, employee engagement, affordability, innovation, value growth and continuous improvement. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Business Manager Specific SOW
Financial (Awards, Sales, OM, Cash) planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting in accordance with company policy, GAAP and SOX requirements.Strategic Planning – Partnership with the Portfolio Program Managers and Functional leadership for the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).Financial management and cost control functions for all contracts / projects.Proposal support for assigned programs and proposal price analysis/strategy development.Government program finance and compliance inclusive of DCAA and DCMA audit support.Public company audit support to both Internal and External/3rd party auditors.Performance Measurement System implementation and program execution, including EVMS compliance under a validated business system. Includes expertise with CFSR, IPMR, and other Customer reporting requirements.Subcontractor cost recognition, integration and management oversight.Intercompany program execution coordination and synergy optimization.Leadership SOW
Interdisciplinary coordination in support of program and department execution requirements.Attention to detail to support contract setup and execution in complex contract environment.On-boarding, motivation, development, and supervision of a competent professional staff.Strong communication and relationship skills with internal, cross-functional colleagues and external customers.Collaborate across program leadership to develop business case analysis for investment and portfolio growth. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of related experience - OR – Master’s degree with 7+ years of related experience.Proven ability to collaborate in a productive, strategic and positive manner across multiple teams and various functions. Strong understanding of government contracting and regulations, to include FAR and CAS.Experience with standard business systems (SAP/S4, NGFP, NGP, Cobra, MS Excel).Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $231,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
