JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Assisting in the management of single large projects or programs of projects that typically have a segmentation rating of 3 or 4 (greater than $30 million), or any project supportive of an Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contracting Strategy. Manages the development and delivery of a capital project or program to which he or she is assigned and focuses on the achievement of project cost and schedule objectives while achieving excellence in the areas of project safety and quality. Provides direct management and support to Project Team members throughout the project lifecycle. Works closely with business unit contractor representatives to achieve Capital Project organization objectives. Accountable for execution of the Entergy Project Delivery Standard on all assigned projects with a matrixed team of subject matter experts (“SME”) including, but not limited to, construction, project controls, engineering, environmental, right of way, supply chain, distribution, finance, Governance and Oversight, legal, maintenance, operations, consultants, and executive leaders to ensure projects are executed with cost and schedule certainty. Report and present large capital project status on a regular basis to business unit and corporate level executives.
