This position has overall responsibility for managerial and clinical functions, strategic direction and leadership for the ongoing effective operation functions including development, setting objectives, planning, staffing implementation, evaluation, and directing educational, clinical, research, administrative, and outreach activities of assigned departments/areas of responsibility within these services. This includes day-to-day responsibility for process and performance improvement activities as they relate to nursing and ancillary personnel, and assists the Medical Directors in carrying out the same functions for the physicians. Success is accomplished by exerting a leadership role which supports the hospital's mission, vision, goals and objectives, while focusing on the patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and the community as customers.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing California Registered Nurse License upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire 3 years of Nursing experience in a critical care specialty 2 years of prior management experiencePreferred Qualifications:
