Our client is looking for a Manager Civil Projects to manage and supervise execution of projects in line with their overall project plan and as per performance parameters of time, cost and quality.   Job Description: Project Planning Coordinate with architects and consultants to finalize layouts and statutory drawings. Submit schedules for domain engineering work packages (mechanical, civil, electrical). Evaluate BOQ and tender drawings submitted by consultants. Prepare and review Level 3 plans for domain engineering work packages. Project Execution and Monitoring Ensure availability of accurate, consistent, and comprehensive drawings and specifications with the contractor. Monitor the delivery and work quality of consultants and PMCs, drive efficiency, review periodically, escalate issues, and ensure corrective actions. Oversee day-to-day site work of domain engineering as per plan. Review weekly and monthly reports of assigned packages, escalate issues, and drive corrective actions. Budgets, Tendering & Contracting Forecast the amount of work to be executed and plan cash flows accordingly. Collaborate and coordinate with Contracts & Purchase Team for BOQs, tenders, and contracts-related issues. Vendor Management & Payables Monitor milestones against the project plan. Review and approve first-level sign-off on measurement sheets and payments. Quality & Safety Ensure implementation of construction QA/QC processes. Assist in quality and safety audits at sites. Compliance & Audits Ensure adherence to all systems and processes as required by the organization. Essential Qualifications 15-20 years of hands-on experience in site execution. Experience in the construction industry or industrial projects. Knowledge of civil engineering domain, project engineering, and management techniques. Familiarity with quality and safety codes and standards for excavation, backfilling, RCC works, steel works, civil finishes, and flooring works. Ability to read and understand GFC drawings. Skills in preparation and use of bar bending schedules. Proficiency in cost and quality estimation. Broad knowledge of design parameters and relevant statutes. Strong planning, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of ASHRAE, IS, and IBR codes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and expediting skills. High result orientation – getting things done on time and as per agreed norms.
