The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Engineering Manager leads clinical engineering initiatives to provide superior customer service and operational efficiency by managing the execution of the AdventHealth Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP). This position manages operations on a day-to-day basis, collaborates and maintains positive relationships with customers, works to develop colleagues, and provides a communication channel between hospital executives. The Clinical Engineering Manager also directs Joint Commission/ DNV inspections and ensures that AdventHealth is following regulatory standards. This position includes a hands-on service component in general biomedical support.

Apply knowledge and experience of technology and/or equipment to oversee site operations and provide direction to others
Coach and mentor technicians by providing feedback on performance and documentation practices
Manage Service Operations functions, such as service contracts and resources. Document demand labor, demand parts, labor, contracts, labor, and parts
Answer questions and meet with others to identify the root cause of technological/process problems
Build and maintain relationships with customers by employing interpersonal and conflict management skills
Effectively collaborate with customers and vendors to develop win-win solutions
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Associates degree in electronics or related technical discipline, business, or equivalent military training/experience
Three (3) years of biomedical or facilities experience
One year of managerial/leadership experience, preferably in a clinical engineering setting; or graduate of the internal management training program
Bachelor’s in engineering or business (Preferred)
Master’s degree in Business Administration (Preferred)
Technical certification such as A , CBET, CRES, CLES, or CCE (Preferred)
