Manager Cloud Engineering
As a successful Cloud Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for the daily activities of a team of Cloud Engineers with a focus on automating, operating, and securing cloud-based platforms and services.

You will receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Meeting delivery objectives will involve applying your experience in the implementation of system architecture and design.

Critical to success is a solid understanding of planning, design, development, maintenance, and support of cloud services along with collaborating with peer Managers, Product and Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Operations globally.

What You Will Do:

Manage an engineering team to optimize the quality and velocity of automation development and operationsImplement disciplined engineering and operational processesDeliver quality managed services in a consistent, timely mannerEnsure proper team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverablesIdentify and measure team delivery indicatorsInteract with peer Managers, Product and Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Operations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or similar field5+ years of experience in cloud or software engineering2+ years leading a devops team or automation/software engineers1+ years' experience with public cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Experience with Agile development methodologiesExperience working in and leading distributed teamsTechnical aptitude for understanding complex distributed servicesProduction Service OwnershipStrong English communication skills

Leading Private to Public Cloud migrationsProject delivery of IaaS, PaaS, or SaaSExperience working with VMware Aria AutomationMulti-cloud, Systems, and Networking integration projectsFoundational understanding of ITIL and associated processesExtensive experience designing, developing, testing complex software solutions to support distributed, scalable and highly available services

Desired Certifications:

AWS or GCP Foundational
