Job Summary

As a Manager Commercial Strategy you will play a crucial role in assessing product or business opportunity, bringing order to chaos with structured analysis, supporting partnership diligence, and propelling programs forward until transitioned. This role reports to the Director Commercial Strategy.

Working within the Business Development & Innovation team, you’ll be exposed to new partnerships and business opportunities aimed at injecting transformative technology or efficiency into existing operations as well as spawning new revenue streams. You will lead analysis to prepare business cases, engage with stakeholders across the organization to drive change, and spearhead the development and execution of new partnerships or programs.

 

Responsibilities

•Support the development of business cases as the organization assesses where to prioritize and invest against our innovation and growth goals
•Develop structured approach to assess new product portfolio, tools, enablers, and business investment opportunities to evolve our roadmap for the future
•Prepare high-quality presentations and program updates for senior leadership
•Develop, implement, and govern program management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.
•Partner closely with Innovation counterparts to identify, assess and drive new business development and innovation through strategic partnerships
•Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their active involvement in the opportunity evaluation and program lifecycle

Qualifications

•5-7 years of professional experience
•3+ years' experience in management consulting or corporate strategy is a plus
•Experience in telecommunications and media is a plus
•Executive presence: ability to confidently engage with and present to senior leadership
•Problem solver: Ability to hypothesize, analyze, and solve problems with level of ambiguity
•Proactive: A self-starter with the ability to work independently
•Challenge status quo: Ability to respectfully redefine existing thinking on subject
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
•Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00 - $168,912.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
