Planning for instrument installation jobs for smooth execution
Planning and execution various jobs for installation & commissioning of various instruments, control systems & package supplied items.
Coordinate various activities in consultation with Head of Department & Lead-Instrumentation to execute the jobs on time
Execution of Instrument installation jobs for various plants
Assign, Monitor & Control execution jobs to team & contractors with to complete on defined time lines & handover to O & M team
Integrating sensors with recorders/controllers, transmitters, displays or control systems as per design of the plant
Implementation and supervising installation, wiring and signal conditioning.
Dry & wet loops testing, Interlocks testing as per C & E / Interlock description
Review of JB schedule, wiring diagram, MCT/Cable schedule
model review, implementation of recommendations of model review, HAZOP/SIL/FGS & CCTV mapping studies recommendations
Review specifications, data sheets, cable schedules and interface schedules.
Design and checking of single lines, schematics and wiring diagrams, area classification, grounding, panel/cable schedules, equipment layout, cable layout, tray layout, lighting and installation details
Control systems Graphics, loop & interlocks checks
Supervise & Monitor progress status on instrumentation execution jobs. Produce/review material take-off and material requisition.
Provide technical inputs & support to execution team for the problem they are facing on site. Resolve E/I, Piping/Inst interface issues at site
Testing & commissioning of instruments installed
Provide construction support, perform pre-commissioning and start-up activities for instrumentation systems.
Contracts Management and Billing
Assist Lead Instrumentation to Identified competent vendor for execution jobs, vendor mobilization as per project schedule
Visit vendor site / location for quality check of materials ordered as needed by project team
Certify contracts' bills for the jobs assigned, Submit to contracts / cost control department for further process
Educational Qualification: Essential: Diploma / Degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Communication
Experiences: Minimum experience: 7-12 years' experience in execution of various instrumentation jobs in large/medium scale of industrial projects
Knowledge of Integrating sensors with recorders/controllers, transmitters, displays or control systems, FAT/SAT
Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders (Internal and External) and conducting negotiations with large-scale. high-value vendors.
