The role involves leading one of two PODs, PODs is our internal name for a group of project managers, superintendents, and coordinators: ensuring flawless project execution through meticulous attention to detail and a culture of excellence. The CM is responsible for onboarding, training, and developing team members through high-level oversight of multiple projects, requiring a minimum of 50% travel for site visits. Utilizing scorecards and reporting tools, the CM proactively resolves issues, upholds quality standards, and maintains client communication. Additionally, the CM plays a key role in departmental strategy planning, contributing to the success and growth of the department. Job Duties: + Lead and manage project teams, ensuring accountability for their roles by providing comprehensive training and ongoing development in both technical and behavioral competencies essential for accomplishing their responsibilities. + Delivers exceptional customer service by addressing project pain points, maintaining high morale, and building strong client relationships through regular communication and feedback. + Responsible for resource planning of assigned team and collaborates to ensure department needs are met.  Plays a vital role in hiring and talent management of team members including but is not limited to individual development and improvement plans. + Ensures key metrics of department and projects are maintained and issues are identified with plans in place to remedy including the use of a progressive disciplinary system. + Perform ongoing audit of field process and scorecard metrics through daily/weekly reporting tools. + Specialize in onsite requirements, execution, and supervision for renovation projects, while providing guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and vendors. + Comprehensive Project Lifecycle Management by mastering the HR project lifecycle, including estimating, contracting, SOW, PIP, quality control, scheduling, and budgeting for design-build and general contractor projects. + Proficient in codes, compliance, permits, ADA standards, building techniques, brand standards, and risk management, with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate construction risks. + Resource planning of potential and assigned projects.   + Schedule awareness of assigned projects includes initial schedule alignment/review and ongoing review to deliver on-time completion with project teams. + Aware and follow up on schedule performance metrics (critical project metrics, off-track projects, milestones, buyouts). + Monitor and advise on schedule deadlines with project teams and guide/support with work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions. + Understanding of company financial plan and department requirements to deliver the plan. Includes understanding of monthly financial results of company, department, assigned projects and ensuring key metrics are delivered. + Detailed understanding of project budgets, performance, and risks. + Review and ongoing oversight of project budgets, timetables, and resources. + Identifies potential forecast misses, escalates and supports planning to recover the budget at the project, and portfolio at the department level. + Provide comprehensive project support to project teams throughout the project life cycle assuring all disciplines involved in the project are in phase with the project goals and objectives through site visits, scope overview, and overall project management. + Expert in the Quality Control process at Hotel Rehabs, ensuring job sites meet standards and providing necessary training and feedback to teams. + Expert in HR safety processes, ensuring teams are equipped with OSHA-compliant safety equipment and information, conducting safety inspections, managing safety metrics and training, and overseeing accident/incident reporting to maintain compliance across all projects. Requirements + Minimum of 8 years of construction management experience (At least 4 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager. Highly preferred is experience acting as site/project superintendent in the field). + Experience in Hotel Renovation and/or experience in tenant improvement managing projects in an occupied space. + Proven experience concurrently managing multiple projects and project teams (i.e. project managers, superintendents, coordinators, engineers) + Ability to travel up to 50% in the role + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite + Experience in traveling construction groups preferred + Experience with Autodesk, Bluebeam, and Premier preferred Incentives: + Industry-leading healthcare options (Dental, Vision, Health, FSA) + Immediately matched and vested 401k plan + Competitive salary with a high potential for success and growth Hotel Rehabs, LLC is a boutique general contractor that specializes in transforming major branded hotels (like Hilton, Marriott, and IHG) throughout the United States.
