As a Team Lead forContinuous Improvement Hub Operations Americas, your role will be pivotal in supporting the Global Supply Chain for Roche Diagnostics. Based in Indianapolis, you will report directly to the Head of Shop Floor Enabling Functions and lead a team responsible for continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

Leadership: Lead and develop a team of continuous improvement professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success in achieving their goals.

LEAN Initiative: Develop and implement training programs to introduce the concept and enhance the skills of shop floor employees. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify projects for implementation, prioritize initiatives that drive efficiency and build a community that focuses on LEAN techniques and projects.  Develop reports and metrics that highlight program effectiveness and drive increased engagement..

Continuous Improvement: Build a continuous improvement culture within the Hub Americas organization.  Manage a prioritized schedule of improvement projects to drive efficiency, service level improvement, process quality that provide greater customer satisfaction.  Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure maximum impact from the Continuous Improvement team. 

Operations Support: Provide operational support to shop floor teams by troubleshooting issues, analyzing data, and implementing process improvements. Collaborate with other functional teams to ensure seamless integration of processes and systems.

Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and shared understanding of objectives. Act as a liaison between shop floor teams and management, conveying feedback, concerns, and suggestions.

Who You Are

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field

Professional experience/duration: 6-10 years related experience

Specialist knowledge:

Certification in Lean Six Sigma -  Black Belt is preferred.

Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools, such as value stream mapping, process mapping, root cause analysis, and statistical analysis.

Experience in leading and managing process improvement projects, with a track record of achieving measurable results.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Minitab, or Tableau.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and identify improvement opportunities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

Familiarity with logistics operations and supply chain processes, including warehouse management, order fulfillment, and transportation management.

Knowledge of automation technologies, such as robotics and warehouse management systems (WMS), is a plus.

You are also responsible for building, and then providing effective line leadership for a local team. Doing so in a manner that is consistent with the Roche Values and leadership capabilities. You will seek to inspire and lead your team to create transformative solutions, and to influence their prioritization and uptake in the wider organization, in order to ensure that customer solutions are at the forefront of the Continuous Improvement  team and deliver its optimal contribution to the Roche Diagnostics Vision.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $103,400 - $192,000,.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
