GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:This position manages all change-over functions for the Mountain Health Aren.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBLITY:Manage the operation of all event set-up and tear down equipment; stages and platforms; basketball floor, goals and scorers tables; risers and railings; sound, lighting, scoreboard and intercom systems; chairs and tables; lobbies, dressing rooms and press room; etc.)Hire, train, supervise and schedule part-time change-over staff. Complete performance appraisals and make salary recommendations, as requested, on staff.Prepare and operate with-in the annual change-over department budget.Develop and implement policies and procedures for change-over crews (i.e., SOP’s, daily “to do” lists, etc.)Order change-over supplies, equipment and uniforms.Maintain inventories on change-over equipment, tools and supplies.Develop and operate a preventative maintenance program for ASM/Global equipment, as directed.Fully understand Mountain Health Arena layout to maximize usage (i.e., storage, etc.)Develop and submit lists of necessary repairs and improvements.Assist as needed in all areas of operations.Perform other tasks as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrate knowledge of basic tools and methods to erect and dismantle various items including chairs, risers, and stages.Knowledge of purchasing practices.Knowledge of supervisory principles with an emphasis in working with, training and scheduling a part-time staff. Previous change-over experience in a similar facility preferred. This position occupies a windowless office environment for possible extended hours during a shiftWill require being outside during adverse weatherMay be exposed to a high noise level for extended periods of time, related to event typeHOURS OF WORK AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
