The Power, Energy and Infrastructure vertical will focus on borrowers in the domestic energy and climate transition space, extending project and corporate finance loans for the construction, operation and ownership of renewable and conventional power plants and associated infrastructure. Managers work with senior team members in identifying, analyzing, closing and monitoring project finance and corporate loans. Managers typically have 5 years of relevant banking experience and have very strong knowledge of industry markets and risks. A Manager works independently on less complex underwriting and portfolio transactions and operates in a support role for a more senior employee on more complex transactions. Managers are meaningful contributors to team successes and assume increasing levels of responsibility with underwriting and managing portfolio investments. Managers provide guidance and training to more junior team members. **The Work Itself** · Lead the transaction due diligence process, including review of business information, preparation of diligence requests, and transaction discussions with clients · Perform financial analysis, including interpretation of historical and projected financial information · Prepare and/or review Excel-based, financial models · Manage portfolio accounts in accordance with Company policies / procedures · Lead in the compiling of materials for investment committee presentations at various stages of transactions for review by Ally Corporate Finance senior management · Review work product from junior employees and provide constructive feedback to improve outputs, drive efficiencies, and facilitate growth · Lead analysis for ongoing maintenance of portfolio investments and managing lender groups, including financial statements and other regular client reporting, as well as updating internal reporting packages to be shared with Ally Corporate Finance senior management · Assist in ensuring investment regulatory compliance · Assist with special projects as required · Work to develop and further Ally's overall credit and risk culture **The Skills You Bring** * 5 years of banking or lending experience in underwriting and/or portfolio management. * Must have experience in first-lien power and infrastructure project finance transactions, including solar, wind, battery and gas-fired generation * BA or BS in Accounting or Finance preferred * Strong financial modeling skills, product knowledge and expertise in financing approaches and techniques for equity or debt * Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills * Highly analytical, detail oriented with problem solving capability * Ability to work independently with demonstrated strong time management skills * High level of accountability and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks * Highly motivated, self-starter * Experience with financial models * Technical: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Power Point **How We'll Have Your Back** * Ally's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
