The Manager of Corporate Security is responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to protect the organization's assets, employees, and information. This role involves developing and managing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a secure environment.

The Manager will lead a team of security professionals, respond to security incidents, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the daily security operations within BMS Hyderabad and give functional direction as needed to ensure execution of the Hyderabad site security contracts and plans.Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Implement and manage security technologies, like firewalls, intrusion detection systems and access controls.Conducts investigations and fact-finding reviews as directed, where breaches or non-compliance occurs, implement corrective action plans to ensure mitigation activities are enacted and results achieved.Performs audits and inspections of the physical security of vendor/supplier companies in India as directed and makes appropriate recommendations to endeavour to protect BMS.Develops and delivers security-based presentations as directed to Site SLT, utilizing various tools to train others, communicate information and leverage better business decisions.Assist with executive protection, emergency/crisis management planning, code of conduct inquires, internal investigations, workplace violence issues and employee performance issues as directed by the site SLT and Corporate Security. Provides quality consultation specific to security and ensure recommendations are delivered to various internal business customers.Ensure the organisation's compliance with applicable security-related laws, regulations, and standards in India.Prepare security plans required for corporate events held both on site and at external venues. Advise the Hyderabad Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on personal security.Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats, promptly investigating and mitigating security incidents.Oversee the management of physical security measures, including access controls, CCTV systems, and security personnel.Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring timely and effective responses to security breaches.Manage records, documentation and reporting to demonstrate compliance and facilitate audits.Collaborate with internal teams to integrate security considerations into developing new products and services.Maintain an effective and current knowledge regarding industrial security practices, trends, and technologies. Continue to develop their expertise into areas of security that they are critical to BMS, for example illegal trade and cyber security.

Qualifications & Experience

A bachelor's degree in any field, information security or a related field.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.Candidates with Army Background will be preferred.7+ years of experience in a senior security management roleKnowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity FrameworkExperience in managing security operations centres (SOCs) or working with managed security service providers (MSSPs).
