Summary:
Directs, plans, oversees, organizes, evaluates and improves a complex system-wide culinary service function for BayCare Food and Nutrition Services (FNS). Works with FNS teams throughout the system to support, facilitate and collaborate to deliver and improve culinary excellence. This includes recipe creation/review and compliance for all facilities. Ensures appropriate menu development, purchasing, inventory, cost and sanitation is followed throughout the system. Identifies current food trends in healthcare patient services and retail and incorporates accordingly. Ensures production processes and assists facility leadership in implementing training for facility to improve quality, cost and outcome of services provided. Provides coaching and mentoring to on-site staff. Solicits and studies customer feedback to maintain high standards of quality and satisfaction for all facilities. Ensures all facilities comply with regulatory compliance at the local, state and federal level. Works with, collaborates and negotiates with internal stakeholders and external vendors for the system. Provides input into strategic decisions that affect FNS. Has dotted lines responsibility for Executive Chefs.
