The position
As a Manager, you will be heading up a team of highly skilled and motivated specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement. Furthermore, your play a key role in driving the digitalisation agenda across the area, optimising the way we digitally engage with our global suppliers and enhancing efficiency.

Your key responsibilities include:

Set the strategic ambition for digitalization while working with CMOs, ensuring alignment in the ongoing initiatives, both internally and externally Define clear goals and purposes for the digital projects, overseeing the scope, schedule, costs, and risks Manage the team within people and business processes, supporting individual development journeys by coaching and advising your team members Ensure operational performance and team delivery according to targets, driving the change management agenda of GCM Drug Substance (DS) & Drug Product (DP) Ensure clear and timely communication, information, coordination, and collaboration between employees and stakeholders

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we believe you:

Hold a master’s degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, production, manufacturing, or another relevant discipline Showcase hands-on leadership experience, ideally within a large setting, along with and a strong interest in digitalisation and its role in supporting the supply chain Have an understanding for digitalization and data and a curiosity in learning how digital tools can be leveraged to improve the business Possess a proven track record in project management, consistently delivering successful results and driving change management initiatives Showcase strong communication and stakeholder management skills Display proficiency in both spoken and written English

You bring exceptional communication and teamwork skills, providing clear guidance and effectively engaging with both internal and external partners while understanding the needs of the business. You are a curious person and thrive on coaching, developing, and uplifting your team, fostering a culture of strong collaboration, and reshaping the way your team operates. Lastly, what truly motivates you is setting ambitious goals that continuously improve the business and ensure the team’s success. 

 

About the department
You will join the GCM S&BD department, where we are dedicated to aligning the strategic priorities of Novo Nordisk GCM DP and GCM DS business units. The department consists of three  sub-departments covering Business Development, Operational Excellence and Digital, Data & IT , where we play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvements and setting strategic direction across GCM DP and GCM DS.

We work closely with various stakeholders to drive success and support Novo Nordisk's mission to improve the lives of patients worldwide. Our department is known for its collaborative and dynamic work environment, where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued.
