**Overview**
**Responsibility and Focus**
The Manager – Data Analyst will play a crucial role in helping to define and execute the data transformation of one of our biggest clients’ marketing efforts. This role will involve tracking and reporting on performance across multiple media channels and making sure insights and recommendations are rooted in data and then followed in planning processes. The role will involve regular liaising with the media planning teams as well as with the client directly, including the need to present and effectively communicate findings and insights to the client stakeholder. The role aims to champion the use of data in all marketing decisions, and maximizing the utility and effectiveness of the data available to the brand as well as any additional studies that are being done on media impact. This person will need knowledge of online and offline media channels and the data they make available, as well as CRM and Commerce channels and ideas on how to merge these datasets together to drive business growth for the client.

**Main Tasks**
**Technical & Product**
Day-to-day, your role includes:
+ Creating unified insights across owned digital assets and providing performance recommendations.
+ Providing and presenting strategic data-driven recommendations across channels to improve client decision-making and ROI.
+ Serving as a client and internal resource on industry trends and key functional areas such as analytical tools and marketing measurement.
+ Evaluating new online and offline data opportunities in the form of new sources, new technology, client priorities, partnership, etc.
+ Fostering creative thinking around how we use data, and we could use data to solve unique business challenges in support of all Marketing activities (Media, Creative, CRM, and eCommerce).
+ Supporting the integration and trouble shooting off data integrated tasks across the client’s MarTech infrastructure.
+ Consulting on measurement frameworks and identifying the right KPIs to measure success for media activations.

+ Strong client relationship and communication skills, with experience managing multiple projects across teams.
+ Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
**Innovative & Analytical Mindset**
+ Experience with basic statistical techniques such as regression.
+ Familiarity with more complex statistical methods such as classification models, supervised and unsupervised learning etc.
+ Strong grasp of media measurement solutions such as Digital Attribution, Marketing Mix Modelling, Lift Tests etc.
+ Knowledge of digital data technologies (CDPs, DMPs, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, etc.)
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
+ Experience with Alteryx, Python or any alternative data wrangling tools preferred.

**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience Required**
+ A Bachelor's degree in computer science/math/engineering degree
+ A minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Data Analyst role (or similar), where they've worked with data and had to present insights to internal/external stakeholders
+ Previous media agency and performance marketing background is strongly preferred.
