About the Job Manager Data Delivery – Telecommute Opportunity ================================== PetSmart seeks a full-time Manager Data Delivery to be responsible for attracting, leading, and developing a team of engineers to deliver enterprise data solutions. Specific duties and responsibilities include: delivering data reporting and analytic solutions that drive business insights and outcomes; interacting with the business partners and IT leadership to determine reporting requirements for strategic projects and continuous development; managing project blueprinting which includes scoping, estimation, prioritization, scheduling, and resource planning; providing leadership and direction for the project execution through design, development, testing, and deployment of data integration, reporting, and analytic solutions; partnering with Project Managers and Operations on the effective delivery of work, and with external vendors for added resource capacity to meet project demands; developing relevant artifacts for communication, direction, delivery, quality, and solutions; anticipating project risks and issues and adapting to overcome them through creativity and relationship building; budget management, purchase order creation, and invoice processing for external labor; participating in strategy development and advocating for modern data architecture best practices and standard IT processes; and working with various Project Management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. May telecommute from any location in the U.S. HQ in Phoenix, AZ. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience with Enterprise Data Management, Data Warehouse, Integration, and Business Intelligence environments. Must also have each of the following: 1) 3 years of demonstrated experience leading development teams; 2) Demonstrated experience with business intelligence tools and technology including Snowflake, Databricks, MicroStrategy, ThoughtSpot, Netezza, and Alteryx; 3) Demonstrated experience with relationship management of key stakeholders, vendor management with external partners, talent development, team management, and strategic planning; 4) Demonstrated experience with providing leadership and direction for the project execution through design, development, testing, and deployment of data integration, reporting, and analytic solutions; and 5) Demonstrated experience developing and managing budgets and financial plans to ensure the efficient and effective use of technology and human resources.
