Manager Data Integrity - HIM, Full-Time, Woodbury

MAJOR FUNCTION: 

The Data Integrity Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of the reliability and life-cycle maintenance of the Master Patient Index (MPI), Release of Information, Transcription, Patient Portal and EMR integration.  This includes oversight and accountability for the correction of duplicate medical record numbers and integration of IMG and other acquired services into the INSPIRA EMR model to ensure reliable patient and caregiver access as well as required data reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education & Experience:                                             

Associate degree or a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Healthcare, IT, Business, Management or another related field.  Minimum of 5years experience in an acute care setting. Ability to prioritize concurrent tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills. Data analytics using an electronic medical record (EMR). Excellent management skills including employee coaching and motivation techniques. 2 years supervisory experience in a Healthcare, IT or other progressive setting.

Certification/Licensure:     

RHIT/RHIA eligibility should be obtained within one year of hire

Physical Requirements:      

Sitting for extended periods of time, some walking, retrieving of records, lifting records, stooping. Ability to work various shifts, weekends, at any one of the Health Information Management Departments within the hospital system Lifting of medical records may be required Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of health professionals
