Manager - Data Services is responsible for product and pricing data maintenance and loading activities that support business and customer needs, including item master, published column pricing, and cost side contracts for item replacement. Provides day-to-day team leadership including training, guidance, troubleshooting support, workload distribution, and issue escalation.
Develops and facilitates project planning, goals and departmental scheduling. Strong sense of Finance, Cost and Pricing. Deep understanding of Supply Chain Process. Selects, manages, evaluates and develops staff. Provides staff with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities. Manages processing of replacement costs to ensure purchase order accuracy. Manages processing of third party and supplier direct price submissions. Oversees processing of daily maintenance (additions, changes, prices, etc.) Ensures data accuracy, integrity and completeness. Troubleshoots system issues and offers suggestions for resolution. Participates in interdepartmental meetings on pricing system enhancements and offers suggestions for improvement.EXPERIENCE:
5 years required, 7 years preferred prior responsibility in pricing and data management 2 years required, 3 years preferred of management supervision. Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration or related required Ability to initiate and develop relationships with key decision makers inside and outside the company to achieve objectives. Ability to work within timelines and project deadlines. Able to oversee people and processes to achieve objectives. Strong people skills including coaching and conflict management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally. Process orientated and ability to adapt quickly. Knowledge of industry including suppliers, customers, and competitors Strong sense of urgency, accuracy and completeness Strong interpersonal skills Strong Excel skills and understanding of systems and processes.
