Manager Digital Health Strategy
Job Summary The Digital Health team provides digitally enabled products and services that drive core business services to grow patient access, create new revenue streams, and increase market share, enabling patients to receive healthcare at Novant Health in the most remarkable way possible. Digital Health operates in a centralized, standardized, and unified approach to internal & external partners in a system approach. The Digital Health Strategy Manager will be responsible for the strategy of the Acute hospital based telehealth programs, which includes: TeleNeurology, TeleICU, Telepsych, Virtual Nursing, Hospital at Home, and other programs in various stages of implementation. The Digital Health Strategy Manager plays a role in shaping the future of telehealth at Novant Health by developing strategies, managing programs, engaging stakeholders, analyzing market trends, overseeing financial aspects, and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Development: + Develop and implement in partnership with institute leaders the strategic vision and roadmaps for acute hospital based telehealth programs + Identify opportunities for expanding telehealth services (internal and external) and driv e innovation in healthcare delivery. Market Analysis and Competitive Research: + Stay informed about emerging technologies and c onduct market research to understand trends, patient needs, and competitive offerings in digital health. + Analyze data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments, ensuring Novant Health remains competitive in the market. Transformation and Change Management: + Assist in the transformation of digital health technologies and services, ensuring they meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers. + Assess platform and service offering satisfaction and impact, develop action plans to optimize . + Lead change management initiatives related to the adoption of telehealth programs, addressing barriers to implementation and user adoption. + Identify new revenue streams associated with telehealth services and explore potential funding opportunities. + Develop budgets and financial plans for telehealth programs, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximization of revenue opportunities. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: + Ensure that all telehealth programs comply with relevant regulations, policies, and standards. + Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery in telehealth. Performance Metrics and Reporting: + Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of telehealth initiatives. + Prepare regular reports on program performance and strategic outcomes for senior leadership. Leadership : + May l ead and manage resources involved in telehealth initiatives, providing direction and support to achieve program goals. Qualifications + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. In Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field + Experience: + Minimum two years supervisory experience or leading teams, required. + Minimum three years’ experience in information technology, required. + Minimum four years’ experience in business administration or strategy, required. + Additional Skills (required): + Strong experience in managing digital health, telehealth, and virtual care programs and operations. + Excellent organizational, project management, and process improvement skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and independently prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to synthesize data and convey key messages in a visually appealing and impactful wayExperience in assessing current state, preparing recommendations to optimize and execute + Ability to create and maintain complex roadmaps to outline system wide vision + Experienced in designing proposals and socializing for executive and clients buy in + Additional Skills (preferred): + Experience in integrating new technologies and managing technology vendors. + Knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry standards related to digital health. + Track record of successful program management and operational optimization.
