The Digital Merchandising & Marketing Manager is responsible for achieving Nordstrom (Nordstrom.com and Nordstrom Stores) customer outcomes which are predominately focused on driving product demand and sales. The Manager achieves these outcomes through driving the entire customer experience from strategy through execution for their AOR. The Manager is primarily focused on driving customer outcomes through digital customer interactions, complemented by off-line strategies based on customer interest.
Responsibilities
Working cross-functionally with expert teams, the Digital Merchandising and Marketing Manager supports the entire customer journey that enables us to hit our sales goals, and this includes:
Working with our Merchants to drive our product strategy
Connecting our product strategy to our overall Nordstrom customer goals
Developing and executing digital navigation & merchandising strategies
Developing and executing marketing & content messaging strategies
Driving the Nordstrom.com features & functionality strategy
Supporting our reporting & optimization roadmap
Leading and developing a team
What You’ll Need
The Digital Merchandising and Marketing Manager is a unique role as it spans the entire customer experience combining multiple functional disciplines and skillsets. The ideal Manager may not have all the needed experience listed below and may need to learn some aspects of the role quickly. However, the Manager does need to have extensive command of several of the disciplines below when entering the role:
Experience engaging with internal and external partners.
Experience scaling e-commerce businesses.
Experience driving digital to physical outcomes (e.g. buy online pick up in-store).
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in management roles with progressively larger responsibility
5+ years of management experience in e-commerce
Ability to build strong relationship with peers and senior leadership
Experience measuring emerging technologies and media (mobile, social)
Bachelor's degree required, Masters (preferred), with emphasis on business, marketing, consumer research, or related field
Relevant ecommerce or multichannel retail experience (preferred)

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $103,500-$175,000 annuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
