Manager E-Commerce | Mumbai (Goregaon)

About the Role:

● An e-commerce manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of an e-commerce business, including the development, management, and optimization of the online store.

● The person will report to the General Manager-Planning. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

● Driving sales performance, analyzing past performance, and setting realistic targets

● Ensuring the online experience is user-friendly and on-brand and managing customer retention and loyalty programs

● Spearheading digital marketing efforts and analyzing competitors to identify opportunities and threats

● Making decisions about products, pricing, and promotions

● Writing management reports on sales performance and presenting insights to stakeholders 

● Using historical data to forecast future trends

● Conducting experiments to test different website elements, marketing campaigns, or pricing strategies

Key Result Areas:

● Communication: An e-commerce manager should be able to clearly communicate job duties to their team and plans to management.

● Data Analysis - E-commerce managers need to understand what their customers like and dislike to increase revenue.

● Conversion Rate - This KPI shows how well a website converts visitors into customers. A higher conversion rate is better for revenue.

● Customer lifetime value: Monitoring and improving customer lifetime value (CLV) can help keep customers coming back and boost brand loyalty and revenue.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

Any MBA/PGDM is preferred or any Graduate with upto 4 years experience in Ecommerce

● Good vocal & written communication skills.

● Proficient with MS Excel, powerpoint

● Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Adobe Acrobat preferred.
