Do you want to be an influencer in healthcare? **Apply for our Manager Emergency Preparedness and Safety role today!** **Job Summary and Qualifications** Lead and manage the safety/Emergency Preparedness program to provide an exceptional program that will maintain the highest level of safety security for our patients, visitors, and staff and keep them safe throughout our campus, facilities, and off-site services. + You will be a member of the EC/Safety Committee, Employee Safety and Security Committee, Emergency Preparedness Committee, and a member of CATRAC and associated committee as applicable + You will monitor and recommend revisions of EC, EM and LS policies as needed + You will train facility personnel following EC, EM and LS policies + You will communicate to facility personnel regarding policies and procedures + You will initiate and monitor investigations related to safety and emergency preparedness items + You will report all activities and incidents monthly to the Director of Facilities Management + You will assist department directors and administrators in enforcing safety and emergency preparedness regulations and codes + You will act as a liaison with CATRAC and internal departments + You will be responsible for Safety and Emergency preparedness for all offsite facilities and properties + You will keep current on specific information and regulations concerning Environment of Care, Emergency Preparedness, Fire and Life Safety and Hazardous materials and waste **What qualifications you will need:** + Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree + CHSP or CHFM preferred + At least three years of multi-disciplinary experience in a large commercial or health care facility. + Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
