Manager Environmental Services
Manages the technical and administrative functions of the assigned EVS function. **Responsibilities:** + Implements short and long term goals consistent with those of EVS and clinical units. + Manages quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the assigned areas. + Interprets and ensures compliance with all appropriate codes and standards. Provides direct supervision of assigned EVS team members. + Ensures that all members have a performance management program. + Ensures that policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout the program. + Performs regular evaluation and mentoring of all team members. + Assists with the development and implementation of programs for the professional growth of members in areas of responsibility, both technical and behavioral. + Participates in the development of environmental services operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility. + Increases efficiency and effectiveness of environmental services activities with a goal of decreasing expenses. + Other duties as assigned. **Education:** + High school diploma or equivalent. Certifications: + None required. Complexity of Work: + Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. + Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. **Work Experience:** + Demonstrated hospitality or housekeeping management track record consisting of at least five years of experience at a supervisor level. **Physical Requirements:** + Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $30.41 Maximum hourly: $46.38 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
