Position Summary:
As our Manager EVS at St. John's Hospital Camarillo, you will manage the daily operations of the Environmental Services department, including supervision of staff and responsibility for the sanitation, infection control and patient satisfaction outcomes of the department. You will seek to promote and bring about a high level of quality that meets budgetary, regulatory and departmental standards. You will maintain communication with patients, staff, and other customers regarding the level of services they receive from Environmental Services staff, and drive a patient satisfaction centered culture in EVS. You will also conduct rounding with patients and staff and ensure their feedback is considered in continuous improvement efforts. A key part of this will be regular surveys on all departmental procedures for adherence to sanitation, infection control, regulatory compliance, safety and patient confidentiality standards, combined with an ongoing effective in-service program for all employees of the Environmental Service Department.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience required.Minimum of one (1) year EVS management experience in related field required.#LI-DH
