Manager - Finance

As a Manager - Finance, you will manage the financial activities and functions for a business segment, region or smaller off system business. You will ensure financial operations are in compliance with governmental rules and regulations. You will oversee the budget process and work with managers to produce and manage effective budgets, as well as act as an advisor to management on regulations and other matters that may impact the financial activities of the company. 

Responsibilities:

Provide support to managers in regard to financial reporting objectives and standards Provide analytical and financial support to assigned business leader Interface with business leaders and builds relationships in support of financial planning and performance measurement Work with business to understand strategies, initiatives, priorities, and cost drivers Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close Develop strategies to support business growth through negotiating new strategic partnerships as well as through growth of core business Prepare financial reports and performs financial analysis Ensure all budgets and forecasts are accurately entered and reconciled in financial systems Lead financial preparation of forecasts, annual budget, and long- term strategic plan Prepare schedules and analysis required for compliance activities including, external audits and quarterly reviews, annual state and local tax packages, and internal audits Lead and motivates staff, promoting a collaborative working environment

Qualifications:

Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related required; MBA preferred. Licenses/Certificates/Designations - CPA or CMA preferred 7 years required of progressive experience working within relevant finance role or related professional role 3 years required of supervisory or leadership experience Proven strategic planning experience at management level Advanced in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication and presentation skills Prior experience anticipating financial and operational issue Ability to travel up to 25%
