The job effectively models, implements, and manages sales incentives plans from end to end for the entire Health Plan. It is a critical role that helps to motivate the sales force and is central to helping the team achieve enrollment targets. This position will facilitate design sessions with senior executives and lead a team that will complete modeling to understand the financial impact of design decisions and to ensure the plans are aligned to the budgeted financials. Once complete, the job will work with the team to administer the plans and to submit payment to the sales team. The process is cyclical and after payments are made for a few quarters, design begins again in Q3. This is a key role in a dynamic work environment that has interaction with management at all levels.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESPerform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
Lead team in modeling design decisions to ensure financial viability of the plans.
Lead team in Sales Incentive Plan payout calculations to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
Performance tracking - report out on progress against annual objectives, dollars paid out versus budget.
Continuous improvement - improve toolset used to manage payouts / lead team in these efforts.
Facilitate and perform project management for design sessions with senior leadership to outline the sales incentive plan for the following year.
