ResponsibilitiesJOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, incumbent will manage Finance Department as well as assist in completion of daily financial tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Journal Entry and General Ledger preparationMonth end closing for four companiesBalance sheet account reconciliationsAccounts payableDaily bank reconciliationsIntercompany receivable and payable reconciliationMaintenance of the chart of accounts and the expense dictionaryRequired to maintain functions in accordance with Finance policies and practices, GAAP, FASB and other internal control standardsResponsible for the maintenance of master controls files in Infinium Accounting system Analyze, investigate and report data monthly, quarterly, and annually as requiredEnsure employees are trained appropriately QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Accounting required, as well as three (3) to five (5) years of accounting and supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.Gaming and/or hospitality experience preferredInfinium/MMS System knowledge preferred or equivalent integrated Financial System knowledgeProficient in Microsoft OfficeTake Initiative to automate and optimize work flow where possibleStrong mathematical skills needed to effectively complete account analysis; will be working with fractions, percentages and ratios Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skillsDetail orientedAbility to react quickly and efficiently to work volumeStrong knowledge of standard accounting principlesAbility to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports and cost analysisMust possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
