Manager Foundation Finance

JOB SUMMARY

\n\n

Serves as a financial resource at the Foundation.   The Foundation Manager (Finance) interacts with Administrative Liaisons and Fund Users that creates an atmosphere of trust and expertise in the representation of financial and fund information. They support the strategic financial planning and budgeting processes at the Foundation.  The Foundation Manager (Finance) serves as a Foundation financial resource to development and other fund users. They communicate in a positive manner the requirements and controls necessary to monitor and maintain compliance with fund restrictions to the Foundation and other fund users.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

\n\n\n\tParticipate in the monthly review and variance analysis of the Foundation financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy and relevance.  Accountable for accumulation of support for fund reimbursements.\n\tPrepare monthly financial reports by the 15th of each month and works with the DIR Foundation - Finance to present information to leadership, operations, and finance teams\n\tMonitor fund use and fund reporting.  Identifies and prepares plans for fund with low or no utilization.\n\tPrepare necessary fund information to be discussed with administrative liaisons and fund users.\n\tParticipate in the annual audit process and in preparation of schedules for use in completion of the Federal income tax returns and other schedules for annual audits. \n\tSupport strategic financial planning and budget process at the Foundation.\n\tEnsure that the Foundation staff are knowledgeable about monthly financial information, attest to the information, and respond to Foundation finance informational requests.\n\tSupport as needed Foundation financial and fund information requests.\n\tPerforms other positions appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.\n\n\n

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

\n\n\n\tKnowledge and use of Blackbaud Software or relational databases preferred. \n\tKnowledge of PaperSave Solutions or other imaging software preferred.\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office software, emphasis on Word, Excel or Access.\n\tKnowledge of Blackbaud online products preferred.\n\tDetail oriented and good organizational skills.\n\tCPA preferred.\n\n\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n- EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

\n- EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience
