Manager Front Store Strategic Finance

***This position is classified as hybrid and will be filled in either Cumberland, RI. or Downers Grove, IL. Additional CVS office locations may be considered at management discretion***

Position Summary

In this newly created role, the Manager Front Store Strategic Finance will spearhead deeper financial analysis of the Front Store business by providing independent and trusted evaluations. This role will report to and assist the Lead Director of Strategic Finance with supporting our Front Store Merchandising categories. This individual will build and maintain easily digestible tools and reports that answer complex business questions, promptly respond to ad hoc inquiries, and provide actionable recommendations to leaders through data driven insights. They should exhibit a proven ability to perform with a high degree of technical skill and accuracy under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects. In addition, they will operate with a continuous improvement mindset looking for opportunities to improve process inefficiencies, simplify data visibility, and champion modern BI Tools. In addition, the successful candidate will need to understand how each workstream impacts our company’s strategy as well as the overall Enterprise goals.

This manager will work to:

Manage initiative integration with our broader Front Store category businessExplore store specific sales results to uncover hidden trends and white space opportunitiesConsult with our Category Merchandising team on financially driven assortment recommendationsResearch the distinct financials surrounding our Store Brands portfolioAnalyze ad-hoc business casesTrack ongoing project deliverables across multiple time horizonsShare findings to our Leadership team to improve results and drive greater insights. 



Required Qualifications

Retail or CPG industry experience with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting5+ years experience providing P&L oversight and analysis5+ years of Retail ERP systems and Microsoft Excel experience required5+ years experience organizing and managing large data sets in a fast-paced retail environment



Preferred Qualifications

Ability to prioritize effectively to multi-task under tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to work independently, pro-actively and being naturally inquisitive.



Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
