Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The general purpose the TECH Finance is to be a financial consultant to the TECH Senior Management by giving recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decision-making. The Finance Functions support and steer the business to achieve financial targets as well as the strategy based on the analysis of number indicators. This is supported by the creation of transparency about business performance through cost & business analysis and performance management.
TECH Finance is responsible for financial controlling and cost management and provides tailored key performance indicators for their business partners. We enable fact-based decision making, best practice sharing and continuous process improvement by creating transparency on impact and dependencies of core cost and service drivers. We derive corresponding solution through application of advanced analytical tools and business expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with assigned business functions and the respective Sr. Management. Enable fact-based decision making by creating transparency on all cost levels (OPEX, CAPEX) through budgeting, forecasting, and the creation of business cases. Manage cost objects and support cost object owners in all financial tasks: Creation and changes of primary data Cost planning and booking according to accounting rules Investment planning and booking according to accounting rules Internal resources planning and recruitment requests Cost rebooking and recharging Provide supporting information for tax compliance Perform month-end OPEX and CAPEX closing in collaboration with accounting team, ensuring compliance with accounting policy and IFRS standards Manage Tech intangible assets to ensure correct Net Book Value and monthly Amortization run. Support the creation of business cases for planned investment in the assigned area of responsibility, challenging underlying assumptions, ensuring standard format approaches are followed, and drive/own the integrity of financial information. Perform “postmortems” analysis on executed business cases to determine business case quality and related lessons learned, including effectively passing that feedback through to the creators of the cases. Develop and implement adequate communication packages to present derived results, recommendations and solutions. Utilize available advanced analytic tools Help to improve processes, standards or operational plans and deliver results with direct impact on Company profitability, e.g. adhere to global definitions of cost, align market feedback with corporate accounting policy Contribute to the achievement of overall HQ Finance and Value Creation Management strategy Identify improvement potential through variance analysis, derive solutions and facilitate related decisions. Manage & execute standardized reporting and ad-hoc analysis Help to improve working methods for financial processes and systems Lead small- and medium-sized projects in finance area, implement findings and ensure sustainability of achievements Foster smooth operation of the day-to-day business, systems and working methods by taking on ownership for related actions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced financial controlling skillset Strong analytical skills, capable to synthesize complex data and develop solutions Strong communication skills to negotiate with internal and/or external parties with possible divergent interests and with different business areas Comprehensive business understanding of processes and structure Problem-solving mindset (structuring, analysis, synthesis) to operate cross-functionally and understand external business drivers High degree of customer orientation Process-avid, result-oriented and solution-minded end-to-end thinking Project management skills incl. planning and organization Comprehensive understanding of system landscape with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, specific analytics tools are a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment with different international cultures Innovative and inspirative team player Fluent in English (written and spoken). Spanish is a plus.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Controlling/International Management/Economics Minimum of 3-4 years’ relevant work experience in Finance Track record of outstanding performance in education and career
