Manager - HIV/STI Programs-Indian School

Terros Health is pleased to share an exciting and rewarding opportunity for HIV/STI Program Manager working in our HIV Prevention Program at our Indian School location.  Reporting to the Senior Director of Community Health. the ideal individual is flexible, compassionate and professional.  The purpose of this program is to increase engagement in care for racial and ethnic minority individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) and/or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders (COD) who are at risk for HIV or are HIV positive and  receive HIV services/treatment.

Terros Health is hiring an  HIV/STI Programs Manager at our Indian School location in Phoenix, AZ. 

 

Full-Time, Employed

Monday-Friday

Experience in public health education and working in an HIV/STI prevention capacity

Lived Experience with the Trans-Gender Community

Position Summary: The HIV/STI Program Manager is responsible for administrative and clinical oversight of HIV Prevention programs.  The manager will work closely with and report to the Director to oversee the service provision of the HIV/STI Programs, ensure that federal, state, RBHA and other contractual arrangements are in compliance, monitor the performance of staff, oversee the scheduling of staff, provide budgetary support and oversight, manage the purchase of goods and supplies, coordinate collaborative efforts with other agencies for delivering services, coordinate fundraising activities and events, and create needed reports and charts, and other duties as requested. This position reports to the Director of Community Relations. 

 

Essential Duties:

Demonstrate knowledge of internal, state, and Federal laws on testing, HIV/STIs Responsible for updating and dissemination of policies and procedures. Seeks out relevant programming and additional funding opportunities including being a key part of the grant development team and writing for grant applications to ensure continuous funding for the department’s programs. Maintain logs and records or program activities in a timely and accurate manner including 1) screening ad locator forms, 2) evaluation forms; 3) outreach notes and logs; 5) billing/services tickets, as well as create, maintain and update mailing and data base systems.  Prepare correspondence, data, and other information as needed.
