Directs the operational, financial, personnel, and planning activities of MedQuest. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.
Responsibilities
Responsible for providing managerial oversight and leadership for MedQuest. This includes; recruitment, on-boarding, managing performance, goal setting and measurement, and ongoing communication.Manage budget and fiscal responsibility to ensure positive and consistent alignment of balancing patient/customer needs, outcomes, and compliance and safety with productivity guidelinesEnsure compliance with regulatory, licensure, and accreditation requirements including that staff is appropriately licensed/certified and taking corrective action for non-compliance as neededEvaluates work flow activities to ensure patient care, staff relations and efficiency of services.Collaborates with system leadership, local leadership, and providers, as required to ensure communications and relationships Oversight of all sales, installation, and servicing of non-commercial Handicap access and power mobility service linesAble to step in to assist staff in response to work load or staffing demands.
Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experienceRequired Licensure and Certifications
Valid Driver’s LicenseRequired Minimum Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment and three (3) years of leadership experience.*May consider candidate with Associate’s degree and minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment and five (5) years of leadership experience.
