• Responsible for the proper training, showing employees the standard of service and covering the various tasks
• Organize work with proper personnel, make necessary revision in staffing and work schedules
• Maintain good rapport with other departments to ensure the highest level of efficient service throughout the hotel
• Maintain sufficient stock of guest room supplies and cleaning detergents
• Responsible for training of new staff and ensuring that new employees are familiar with house rules and regulations including safety procedures and security
• Conduct daily inspections of all areas; maintain all areas to the highest degree of perfection
• Close co-ordination with Laundry and Linen & Uniform room in order to obtain a smooth operation of the work
• Plan and schedule rosters for Housekeeping staff, make necessary revision in staffing and work schedules due to occupancy changes
• Monitor the activities of the Rooms Control person to ensure the efficient allocation of rooms for cleaning and prompt change of status to the front office is maintained at all times
• Set timely and efficient cleaning standards of all guest rooms, back of house areas, service floors and corridors to Hotel standards of cleanliness and repair
• Develop an understanding of the operation of the Front Office and Engineering Departments so that a close working relationship can be established and maintained for the purpose of maximizing guest satisfaction and achievement of Hotel standards of service
• College graduated in the Hospitality Industry.
• At least 8 years working experience in the supervisory level in housekeeping department.
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge on Housekeeping Operation and able to plan and implement housekeeping programs and policies
