This role has a current pay range of $100,800 – $123,200. The listed pay range represents the company’s good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base rate of pay for this position at the time of this posting. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their work location, qualifications, relevant experience, operational needs, demonstrated performance over time, and internal pay alignment.

Summary:

The Human Resources Manager supports general management on employee relations and recruiting matters. Support includes employee relations matters as well as administration of personnel changes and a strong working knowledge of employment practices and policies within the company to address employee/manager inquiries. This is an ON-SITE only opportunity based in Honolulu.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Functions as key player with management in creating a high performance culture of excellence with employees across the organization. Administers, oversees, and/or supports the business in a variety of human resources areas in a generalist capacity. Acts as an internal advisor to management by analyzing and recommending solutions to employee relations issues. Conducts internal investigations on employment issues, including complaints involving discrimination or harassment and recommends appropriate action at the conclusion of the investigation. Coordinates and/or conducts new hire orientations and exit interviews. Execute full cycle recruitment in support of our field and corporate hiring needs. Provide world class customer service to hiring management and the talent community. Serve as a talent acquisition company ambassador to internal and external customers. Source candidates and build talent pipelines via our applicant tracking system and other passive methodologies. Thoroughly screen and assess candidate applications for qualifications. Present offers of employment and successfully fill all assigned positions with top talent in a high volume talent acquisition environment. Analyzes, interprets, and administers various labor contracts. Preparation and participation in contract negotiations. Attend and present at various company meetings (management, administration, etc.). Participate in group projects, such as wellness events, benefit open enrollment presentation and other employee presentations. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills:

·    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (e.g. Business Administration or Psychology) and 8+ years of Human Resources.

·     OR the equivalent in either experience or a combination of education and experience.

·     Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations matters and investigations.

·     Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws such as FMLA, FLSA, Title VII, etc.

·     Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail.

·     Excellent work ethic, organizational and time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

·     Strong ability to partner and collaborate with Human Resources functional experts to develop solutions to Human Resources issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       8+ years of employee relations experience

·       Previous labor experience
