Position Summary:
Manages financial risks, financial planning and forecasting within a specific business unit or function including compliance with all financial record-keeping requirements. May also manage other finance disciplines including general accounting. Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.

Manage and oversee the daily operation of the accounting department including but not limited to:Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reportsPreparing financial statements and related schedulesPreparing relevant documents for BIR filings and assessmentsPreparing monthly trial balance and Bank reconciliations Responsible in the monthly and annual closing of the booksPreparing and processing of payrollMonth and year-end processAccounts payable/receivableCash receiptsGeneral ledgerTreasuryCash forecastingRevenue and expenditure variance analysisCapital assets reconciliationTrust account statement reconciliationsCheck runsFixed asset activityDebt activityMonitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statementsEstablish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principlesCoordinate and complete accounting auditsEnsure accuracy and completeness in the output of accounting staffEnsure the accuracy of company ledger Collaborates with management and department heads to resolve accounting-related issuesImprove systems and procedures and initiate corrective actionsMeet financial accounting objectivesRequired Education / Experience / Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA Required.Experience in Management, Accounting, or related field may be preferred.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.Exceptional math skills.Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office.High level of efficiency and accuracy. Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.Attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data.Travel: As needed
