The primary focus of this role is management of the production processes. Responsible for maintenance processes and their outputs.
§ Ensures the company policies and procedures are followed.
§ Assure customers owned parts/material are properly tagged/identified in a manner to maintain positive traceability to the specific customer’s unit continually throughout the repair/overhaul/modification process, including storage before and after repair/overhaul/modification functions.
§ Assure items (hardware, parts and raw material) delivered/issued to production/maintenance areas are properly identified to assure traceability of original P.O. number.
§ Assure nonconforming/defective/scrap parts are properly identified and/or segregated to preclude being used; and shall notify inspection personnel immediately of condition and location of these nonconforming, defective, scrap parts.
§ Monitor and perform surveillance functions over each maintenance/production area under his/her control to assure compliance to customer specifications, regulatory requirements and good industry maintenance/repair practices; and shall verify maintenance/production/repair functions operate in accordance with these programs.
§ Be familiar with and shall familiarize all personnel under his/her supervision with procedures set forth by this Repair Station Manual and shall assure methods are followed.
§ Assure necessary inspection forms of this manual are competed properly by production personnel in his/her charge and are processed through the quality/Assurance Department, as required.
§ Be responsible for maintenance, preservation and storage of equipment to assure equipment is maintained in serviceable condition.
§ Assure flammable, toxic and/or volatile materials used in maintenance/production areas are stored in fireproof cabinets/facilities.
§ Be responsible for housekeeping and safety in his/her respective areas.
§ Conduct training of production personnel consistent with the requirements of the "training" section of this manual.
§ Perform supervisory duties as outlined in the Supervisory and Inspection Roster.
§ Other various duties as necessary or assigned.
