We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Manager in Training (MIT) program, designed to develop future leaders who will manage transportation hubs nationwide.
Job Summary:
The Manager in Training (MIT) will gain hands-on experience in operations, leadership, and transportation logistics, preparing for a future Station Leader role. This program focuses on managing personnel, coordinating airline crew transportation, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Candidates must be willing to relocate to open management positions within SkyHop Global.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage local transportation services, ensuring efficient scheduling and crew movement.Supervise, train, and develop station personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and excellent service.Monitor daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Investigate and document vehicle incidents, accidents, and maintenance needs.Analyze and manage profit & loss (P&L) for station operations.Conduct on-site inspections of fleet vehicles, ensuring proper maintenance and compliance.Maintain staffing levels by recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling drivers based on operational demands.Enforce company policies, including performance management and disciplinary actions as necessary.Attend scheduled management meetings and provide operational updates.Qualifications:
2+ years of supervisory or management experience (transportation, logistics, hospitality, or similar industry preferred).Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Knowledge of federal, state, and local transportation regulations is a plus.Proficiency in scheduling, staff management, and operational oversight.Strong business acumen, including P&L management experience.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Willingness to relocate for future station leadership opportunities.Why Join SkyHop Global?
