Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Manager 2 to support a portfolio of programs held within the Special Defense (SD) organization. In this role, the Security Manager will be responsible to manage and supervise a team of security professionals in support of fast-paced, high-profile programs; oversee and manage the SD portfolio’s security programs ensuring compliance with government policies, procedures, and directives; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with government customers; support new business pursuits and classified solicitation activities. In this role, the Security Manager will provide direct functional support to the SD Programs Director.

The candidate will also perform as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for a portfolio of programs held within the SD organization. In this role, the CPSO will be responsible for all aspects of the portfolio’s security program including, maintain the physical security integrity and accreditation of multiple SCIFs; conduct periodic self inspections and participate in Government compliance inspections; provide advice and counsel on security matters/activities that affect programs; investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports and take remedial actions, as necessary; understand IC and other government policy and directives to be able to apply solutions to complex tasks/challenges/assignments; participate in and brief security updates at staff and customer meetings, conduct security briefings and training; maintain regular interaction with customer personnel, program managers and staff, and program team members.

The candidate will provide leadership and management to multiple direct reports, establish goals, and monitor performance; provide mentorship and development opportunities, as needed; responsible for planning and executing a security labor and expense budget, working closely with leadership for any deviations.

Basic Qualifications:

Active Top Secret/SCI Poly security clearance with an in scope investigation or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program; must be able to meet enhanced security requirements. Polygraph completed within a 7-year scope

8 Years of Industrial Security experience with Bachelors; or 6 Years of Industrial Security experience with Masters; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs).

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior CPSO/CSSO experience and SCIF management/operations.

Experience in managing Industrial Security programs.

Completion of ICD 705 and TEMPEST training.

Previous management/supervisory experience.

Ability to effectively engage with team members on task completion.

Ability to recognize opportunities and take independent action at resolving challenges.

Strong skills in educating and mentoring team members.

Demonstrated success in leading organization change and transformation.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and security applications (SIMS, DISS, Scattered Castles).

Salary Range: $124,000.00 - $185,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
