Manager Infection Control key responsibilities:

Interacting with all Clinical areas to decrease both the potential and actual risk of infectionDefining, implementing and evaluating hospital infection control standardsDeveloping and implementing policy and procedures to decrease potential and actual risks of infectionIdentifying the infection control programs for the needs of patients, families, visitors, healthcare providers and team members

Credentials include Certification Infection Control (CIC) and one of the following

Master's degree in Public Health RN LicenseMedical Technologist License Registered Respiratory Therapist License and active NBRC Credential (RRT)

Education includes one of the following:

Diploma NursingAssociates NursingAssociates Medical TechnologyBachelors Clinical relatedMasters Public HealthMasters Epidemiology

Experience required:

5 years clinical related experience3 years of Infection Control experiencePreferred 2 years of management experience
