This is a Salaried position. Overview Please note: H-1B sponsorship is not offered for this opening(s). Position will offer option to work hybrid/remote. For the first 90 days there is the opportunity for the incumbent to work 12 days in the office and the rest remote; however, will need to come in to Peoria for trainings and at the request of the leader or collaborative sessions. POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Informatics will oversee the informatics team and collaborate with IT, clinical leadership, and other departments to design, implement, and maintain clinical applications. The Manager will serve as a bridge between clinicians and technology, ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of clinical systems to enhance the delivery of patient care. This role is vital in guiding system improvements, managing the interface between clinicians and technology, and evaluating new tools to meet clinical and operational needs. The Informatics Manager will lead strategic initiatives, including regulatory compliance, system optimizations, and vendor relationships, to support the organization’s goals of providing safe, effective, and high-quality care. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, informatics, or a related healthcare field. Experience: 5 years of experience in clinical informatics, health information technology, or a related healthcare environment. Experience managing interdisciplinary projects and teams involving healthcare providers, hospital leadership, and IT professionals. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience leading clinical informatics projects in a healthcare setting. Experience with EHR implementation, optimization, and support. Licensure/ Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in the state of Illinois by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Epic certification or experience with clinical application systems is highly preferred. Certifications such as Nursing Informatics or Epic Willow. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
