**Job Summary**
The Manager, Internal Resource Planning position will lead the Internal Resource Planning Project Controls Scheduling Staff. This position will:
Provides integrated project controls management to the Major Projects and TDSIC organizations. Seamlessly integrates project controls methodology, staff, processes, tools, techniques, and information management systems to provide daily support to the Project Managers, Project Developers, Project Engineers, Project Technical Specialists, Construction Managers, and Major Project's Management. Directly responsible to ensure optimum project controls staff support of individual projects.
Leads and Directs Performance Area Capability in Project Initiation, Project Planning and Project Controls; Competent and facilitating support for Project Execution and Project Close-Out and Transition
Develops, applies, and advances Project Management and Project Controls capability and competence using industry standards (AACE, PMI, Construction Management Industry, etc.) and best practice application to integrate knowledge areas for optimum project delivery application.
Leads and directs project team members in regard to project scheduling. Objectifies drives, applies subject matter expertise, directs and leads Project Controls Resources. Conflict Manages, Coaches, Team Builds, Motivates, Inspires, Program Manages Major Projects resources. Demands, promotes, and inspires leadership; leads in 360 degree management cycle. Day to day management of Project Controls Scheduling Staff.

Optimizes, leads, empowers, accountable for Internal resource Plan documentation and reporting
Portfolio-manages Project Controls Internal Resource Planning resources
Facilitates leadership and development of scheduling resources
Accountable for Project Controls Internal Resource Planning staff
Manages reporting of project status, performance through KPI metrics and Executive reporting
Manages Internal Resource Planning scheduling processes and best practices
**Essential Functions**
+ Competent in the product life cycle including project development, engineering, construction, testing, turnover and operations support. Ensures scope planning, requirements management, and scope definition. Deployment of optimum WBS management methodology to establish integrated product and project baseline development and integrated scope change control methods and controls to ensure project configuration controls. Performs life cycle project change control to prevent quality degradation and project creep.
+ Manages scheduling requirements for risk mitigation strategies
+ Provides project controls subject matter expertise support for program and portfolio work management
+ Manages and integrates project schedule with the project budgets and cost performance baselines
+ Manages core project controls work management schedule expertise:
+ Responsible for the utilization of schedule related project management guidelines, project management standards, processes, job aids, and tools
+ Manages project Internal Resource Planning scheduling effort
+ Manages project schedule management tools/techniques to advance schedule performance
+ Manages project continuous life cycle planning and scheduling processes with progressive risk management forecasting with increased predictability, accuracy and precision.
+ Manages the Internal Resource Plan schedule performance baseline (as well as integrates with individual project baselines)
+ Manages project schedule performance and schedule variance (SV) and identifies opportunities to avoid negative schedule variances
+ Manages project schedule assessment and analysis processes, tools, and techniques
+ Manages schedule control processes, tools, techniques
+ Manages project schedule reporting inclusive of resource histograms, man-hour estimate accuracy, performance metrics, etc. for project management and executive reporting
+ Accountable for safety and environmental performance for project controls staff (internal and external)
+ Develops and maintains 3-year rolling IRP, Mobile-Sub Schedule, Tree-Trimming Schedule, and Program Schedules
+ Leads and facilitates interdepartmental project scope review and work integration meetings
+ Coordinates with Project Development, TSS, Ops/Transmission/Distribution Planning, and Starting Engineering as directed
+ **Required Qualifications For Position**
+ Bachelor's Degree plus six years project controls experience
+ 10+ years 10 years project controls industry experience
+ 10+ years 10 years field construction management in a utility environment
+ Familiarity with Core Project Controls Scheduling Tool (Primavera)
+ Ability to effectively develop and manage staff
+ Effective skills in Influencing, negotiating, building teams, applying cultural awareness; problem solving and collaboration
+ DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Upon Hire
+ **Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technical study
+ Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI -SP Upon Hire
+ Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI Upon Hire
+ Primavera Scheduling Upon Hire

$129,500.00 - $194,300.00
