Job Summary
Manage all internal process control (process, inventory and quality) auditing functions and create change based on those findings for all Light Duty Distribution Centers.
Primary Duties
+ Design and manage internal document control systems for process accuracy.
+ Develop and maintain a compliance and performance tracking system for all Light Duty Distribution Centers.
+ Maintain reporting structures to site leadership, training, and customer concerns to ensure that process controls are reflecting current needs.
+ Promote best practice across all sites.
+ Maintains historical documentation for all process changes.
+ Analyzing existing systems and identify areas of improvement through process review.
+ Identify and implement changes in the operation to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and promote continuous improvement.
+ Manage best practice activities in Continuous improvement.
+ Track and report process failure modes and direct activities to reduce occurrence.
+ Monitor incoming quality based on Engineering directives.
+ Perform validation studies and analyze audit data to improve processes.
+ Maintain PC KPI’s for individual processes.
+ Manages inventory tracking systems to record inventory changes and accuracy.
+ Lead all Controls personnel including Quality Control, Process Control, and Inventory Control.
+ Develop consistent procedural documentation standards across all sites.
+ Ensure process changes are communicated.
+ Ensure compliance to all external SOX requirements and internal inventory goals.
+ Maintain control of inventory status based on quality audits and engineering requirements.
+ Manage High Dollar adjustments, Cycle count activities, and inventory adjustments as needed.
+ Maintain and manage the staff of contributors needed to perform these activities.
Qualifications
+ Experience with six-sigma, and related continuous improvement activities
+ Experience with process, quality, and inventory documentation systems
+ Knowledge of data tracking methods and data analysis.
+ Previous supervisory skills and experience required.
+ Able to lead projects and execute desired results.
+ Exceptional communication and team building skills.
+ Experience with problem solving techniques.
+ Ability to perform task analysis and validate all training programs.
+ Travel as Required
+ Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
+ Working Conditions: Typical of office work; however, while performing the duties of this job, the contributor may be required to reach, swivel, and carry items from one place to another. Environment may be dictated by ambient temperatures. The noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
+ Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or HS Diploma with adequate related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
