Manager IS Flight Systems

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Manager IS Flight Systems for an opportunity in Wilmington, Ohio.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Proficiency in tracking and resolving software issues.

Preferred Skills: Proven experience with airline systems, preferably the Lufthansa Flight System (LSY). Familiarity with ticket management systems. Experience in liaising with vendors and cross-functional teams. Ability to document and improve workflows for system processes.
Job Description:
System Management: Track and manage tickets submitted with the Lufthansa Flight System (LSY). Elevate high-priority tickets to Product Development Managers (PDMs) as required. Analysis & Troubleshooting: Investigate reported issues to determine root causes. Review issue descriptions and supplement with relevant information to expedite resolution. Coordination: Serve as the liaison between business users, LSY support teams, and internal IT. Follow up on outstanding issues with LSY, ATSG IT, and business users to ensure timely resolution. Knowledge Management: Maintain documentation of ticketing workflows and solutions. Provide training and support to business users on LSY functionality and updates.
