You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook. **Responsibilities** **Job Summary:** Manages day-to-day laboratory operations to ensure proper functioning of the laboratory and the quality of laboratory services. + Foresees, plans, and implements overall laboratory activities; ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of departmental operations. + Ensures compliance with laboratory guidelines and policies. + Oversees and develops laboratory personnel training; instructs, supervises, and manages technicians to conduct proper experimental practices. + Leads research projects; mentors and supervises laboratory members in executing research project tasks. **Qualifications** **Minimum:** **Experience** A minimum of five years of progressive experience in Laboratory Services within Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, including at least two years with an emphasis on medical laboratory management. **Education** Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. **Licensure** Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or an equivalent credential is required.
