Job Title: Manager - Maintenance

Shift Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

**Expected to be on call one Sunday out of the month**

Location: Onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA (3930 16th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404)

Job Summary: As a Manager - Maintenance within Equipment Solutions, you will oversee and ensure efficient operations by coordinating equipment maintenance, managing direct reports, monitoring performance metrics, coordinating schedules, and addressing maintenance needs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Compensation: Base Salary + 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP)

Day in the Job Preview: As a Manager - Maintenance within VRT, you will oversee and manage coordinators and other direct reports, monitor equipment performance, handle communication metrics, address immediate needs, establish vendor relationships, train personnel, coordinate maintenance schedules, communicate with stakeholders, manage financial processes, and optimize uptime for efficient operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor CPU and establish cost-saving processes. Monitor phone times and dropped call percentages. Handle immediate needs of the coordinators to reduce downtime. Establish a preferred vendor list. Hire and train new maintenance coordination personnel. Manage staff daily workflow/schedules and ensure phone coverage. Manage coverage for vacations/time off/holidays. Facilitate weekly team meetings. Work with the scheduler to coordinate equipment into shops for PMs and repairs. Inform CRST Operations of ongoing maintenance issues. Invoice verification/approval/warranty issues. Create POs in the Transman system. Reduce downtime through management of units out of service.

Job Requirements:

Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is required.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
