SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supervising the maintenance of production equipment buildings and utilities including ammonia compressors offal and Wastewater Department. Responsibilities include: assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions; ensure that all maintenance personnel are well trained on the most updated version of operating equipment as well as other maintenance skills; provide a safe workplace and comply with all safety and regulated programs; monitor operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner and identify issues; establish and maintain a computerized maintenance management system SAP / MMS for tracking work orders adequate and appropriate inventory of replacement parts; make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance related problems through analyzing data; ensure that all maintenance personnel are properly trained equipped and motivated so maintenance programs and processes can be accomplished in a safe timely and efficient manner. Follow up with Maint superintendents daily to ensure good communication on all previously sch PM’s and work orders and the completion rate of same. Provide daily follow-up to Maint Mgr on all upcoming maintenance projects for the week, first aids, injuries or safety concerns. Other duties include ensure all safety health OSHA PSM and environmental policies and procedures are in compliance with company policy as well as local state and federal regulations, ensure refrigeration system and wastewater systems are well maintained and meet all regulatory guidelines Communicate daily with concerns on current maint budget, spend and supply inventory management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
6 plus years maintenance experience preferred
Computer Skills:
Standard computer skills.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; some public speaking skills.
Special Skills:
Industrial Maintenance in fields such as electrical refrigeration hydraulics or mechanical.
Supervisory:
Responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform similar or interrelated tasks.
Travel:
1-5 domestic trips per year.
