THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE As Manager of Media Strategy for UB Media, Ulta Beauty’s Retail Media Network, you will serve as a critical member of a growing internal media team focused on building our UB Media business. This is a new role for the organization and will bring connectivity across the enterprise. You will operate at the center of several strategy and execution-oriented marketing and media teams, bringing together strategic marketing plans focused on seasonal and enterprise moments. This role is responsible for developing the strategy and custom proposals for seasonal and enterprise moments. The main objective is to uncover and maximize UB Media opportunities aligned to client goals. You will collaborate closely with the UB Media team, Core marketing team, merchants and agency partners to advance the business as a trusted resource. You are results-driven, resilient, and have a creative and agile mindset. You can identify gaps within media plans and develop creative solutions grounded in data and insights. You can motivate cross-functional partners to work towards a common vision and purpose. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: Understand the Retail Media landscape, the changing needs of the CPG community and shifting consumer sentiment and behaviors. Lead media planning, execution, and measurement to deliver a holistic media perspective to brand partners for key moments. Lead compilation of insights and data points for seasonal and enterprise moments to inform UB Media pitch decks. Work closely with agency partner to build comprehensive plans and provide best in class digital media solutions for our seasonal and enterprise moments. Collaborate with internal and agency teams on innovation, including driving new ad solutions from feedback in the market and determining how to best position these solutions. Partner with core media team to identify opportunities across Ulta Beauty marketing and UB Media. Be a catalyst for change, executing comprehensive media strategies and held accountable for high caliber output and operational excellence. Educate team and key stakeholders in media and marketing best practices. THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS Bachelor’s degree in media, marketing, business, or related field 6+ years of experience developing integrated media plans with an emphasis on social and digital channels. 3+ years of experience working with or at Retail Media Networks. Deep understanding of the media landscape, media consumption, and how to connect media strategies with digital and social activation channels. Naturally curious – you like to understand and study consumer behavior to better understand how to craft media plans. Able to manage multiple priorities from different parts of the business. Experience motivating partner teams towards shared goals, anticipating channel needs, and evaluating performance results. A dual-brained thinker – strong analytics skills with data and measurement, and ability to extract relevant and actionable insights that drive business results. Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Must have experience working in matrixed organization settings, collaborating with cross-functional teams and business units, and managing/influencing various external agency partners. Proficient in Microsoft suite of products. The pay range for this position is $86,500.00 - $111,500.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
