Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Medical Staff Services, North Division the Manager Medical Staff Services is responsible for direction and oversight of the Medical Staff Services department for PRMCE. This includes credentialing and re-credentialing, planning, organizing, leading, implementing, monitoring and evaluating department functions at the administrative level including day to day fiscal management, Medical Staff meeting management and the flow of information from Medical Staff committees through the Medical Executive Committee to the Board of Directors.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or Similar Field or equivalent years of experience, including experience in a management position in the area of specialty Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Affiliation with the National Association Medical Staff Services and the Washington Association Medical Staff Services Within 1 year of hire: Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMS) by the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) Or Within 1 year of hire: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) 5 years Medical Staff experience 3 years Progressively responsible supervisory or management experience 1 year Performance Improvement experience 3 years experience with set up, reporting and data base management tools ASM/MD staff or similar credentialing softwareWhy Join Providence?
